Cynara

Cynara occupies Casa Cedo’s top floor, where sloping rooflines, skylight and an outdoor terrace give the room a distinctly different character from the rest of the house. At 28m², it feels intimate without being enclosed, with a European Super King bed, Egyptian cotton linen and carefully considered furniture arranged to preserve the openness of the loft. The terrace extends the experience outdoors, creating a place for morning sun, a glass of wine at the end of the day or simply a quieter view over Cedofeita. In the bathroom, travertine and natural stone bring warmth and texture, complemented by Byredo Bal d’Afrique bath and body amenities. Cynara works especially well for guests drawn to architecture and atmosphere: the experience is shaped as much by the roof, light and changing sky as by the objects inside. It is a calm, design led hideaway above the city, with Porto close at hand and the house’s garden just below.
